*** BREAKING NEWS *** Massachusetts Humane Society Animal Shelter will soon have a second location for cat adoptions -- at PETSMART -- Grossman Drive -- Braintree, MA MHS is now accepting Volunteer Applications for Cat Care Givers - AM & PM shifts - A dedication of 2 hour shifts needed. We need a Cat Care Manager and Cat Care Assistant Manager to help coordinate and maintain the operation. If you have cat experience that would benefit and can commit a reasonable length of time Volunteering, WE NEED YOU! We need to get a group of Volunteers ready for the opening of this new venture for MHS! This new area Shelter will hold about 8 -10 cats. Please email MHS at: masshumane@aol.com for more information. Mass Humane Society is looking for Volunteers that can work INDEPENDENTLY with some animal EXPERIENCE to help care for the animals and help clean the Shelter. The days and hours are: Monday through Sunday 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, 5:00 pm to 6:45 pm We are looking for Cat Care and Dog Care, Foster Care Homes for Cats and Dogs, Dog Walkers, Fundraising Committee Volunteers, Help to Socialize Cats, Volunteer(s) to Transport Animals to and from the Vet's Office and (PERSS) - Pet Emergency Response of South Shore. Thank you for your help, support and labor of love !! Please fill out an MHS Volunteer Application and indicate what area interest you want and the day and time you are interested in.
