    UPDATE: 11-11-11

Hello me again, Sir Wilson. Thought I would give you an update on my condition. I am receiving so much love, care and dedication from the MHS Staff. That being said, PLEASE HELP MHS - they need monetary donations to pay for my monthly special diet food - wet & dry and I have to go get a curve - blood glucose check at the Vets, which varies month to month. This care is for the rest of my life. PLEASE SPONSOR ME, SIR WILSON. HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON !!

Hi! My name is Sir Wilson - I am a 5 to 6 year old DLH Orange neutered male cat. My story is sad with a happy ending. I was thrown out - abandoned outside to die, but MHS took me in. I MUST HAVE MORE THAN 9 LIVES because when I was brought to the Shelter I had a UTI, URI, Eye Infection, Ears Infection, lost weight and dehydrated. I am FIV + positive and a Diabetic. All that in one package - ME. Then, I went in for neuter, and complications for some reason happened, so another Veterinarian had to go in ONCE AGAIN - a 2nd time, AND NEUTER ME "correctly." That cost MHS $1,400.00 plus $600.00 for other procedures before that had to be done. I have been through it all - BUT I AM DOING FINE NOW. The worst is OVER we hope! THE BILL IS ALL PAID UP NOW !! THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!

I am receiving so much love, care and dedication from the MHS Staff. That being said, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP OUT MHS - they need monetary donations to pay for all the medical bills that they have incurred - but for GOOD REASON, ME. I get two shots of Insulin per day, so we need syringes, and insulin, plus I am on special diet food - wet & dry, and I have to go get a curve - blood glucose check at the Vets, which varies month to month. That all adds up -- PLEASE SPONSOR ME, SIR WILSON.

You will get a personal picture card of Sir Wilson mailed to you, that you can frame. Your name will be listed under Sir Wilson as a proud SPONSORSHIP. If your interested in helping Sir Wilson - please contact MHS by email - masshumane@aol.com or call 781-335-1300.

    Meet: CALLIE

    Sponsorship - L.M. - 2010 & 2011
    Sponsorship - Diane M. Sullivan - East Weymouth, MA - 2011
    More Sponsorships Still Needed!
This is CALLIE - she is an 8 year old DLH gray female cat, with beautiful green eyes. Callie had surgery because of her bowel problems - she came in so overweight at 23 pounds - she is a small bone structured cat. Callie could not walk and was having a very hard time moving her bowels because of her obesity. She kept getting a UTI and could not clean herself. Callie is such a sweet girl, and a real love to be with. Our Vet Dr. Lindsey at WLCC did the surgery and NOW Callie is recovering very nicely. She feels better and is moving around -- and she is on a diet as well. Callie is moving her bowels so much better and she is using the litter box -- she can move in and out of the litter box now. MHS was so disgusted with the previous owners -- that they did not address her problems and Callie was in much pain and she could NOT WALK because of her obesity. Callie is improving EVERY DAY ! PLEASE HELP HER ! COME AND MEET HER -- YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH HER! PLEASE open up your HEART and SPONSOR CALLIE - Your donations will help us pay for her SPECIAL DIET FOOD, SURGERY, UTI MEDICINE and CHECK-UPS.

You will get a personal picture card of Callie mailed to you, that you can frame. Your name will be listed under Callie as a proud SPONSORSHIP. If your interested in helping Callie - please contact MHS by email - masshumane@aol.com or call 781-335-1300.

    Meet: MILO

    Sponsorship - Donna Ramos - Peabody, MA - 2010

MILO has been diagnosed with DIABETES. He now needs medical treatment of Insulin shots twice per day, and a special diet. MHS desperately needs funds to give Milo quality of life for him to survive and live on. The Insulin, box of Syringes, Special Diet food and his Glucose Panel Check-up can cost over $200.00 in a short time of 2-3 months. So every 2-3 months MHS needs to treat Milo with his medical treatment. Milo was a throw away -- he was dumped / abandoned at the gate in a cat carrier scared and crying and desperate. Please consider helping Milo and MHS by donating funds, even if it is a small amount. Anything is better than NOTHING for Milo. THANK YOU VERY MUCH -- from Milo ! PLEASE open up your HEART and SPONSOR MILO...

You will get a personal picture card of Milo mailed to you, that you can frame. Your name will be listed under Milo as a proud SPONSORSHIP. If your interested in helping Milo - please contact MHS by email - masshumane@aol.com or call 781-335-1300.

Oscar is a 13 year old Domestic Long Hair orange neutered male cat. He is very sweet and loves to hang out with you. He loves to be petted and play with his toys time to time. He does not like to be picked up, however, he will keep you company and has lots of love to give you in other ways. Oscar was abandoned at our Shelter in his cat carrier - we found him that morning at the gate entrance very scared and lonely and confused. "Please help us help Oscar" as he is on a special diet. He was diagnosed with UTI (Urinary Tract Infection). Oscar is now on a SPECIAL WET and DRY FOOD DIET for his UTI, so that it DOES NOT RETURN. Oscar is doing FANTASTIC and does well on the special diet. Oscar feels so so much better and he looks so good. This UTI special diet food is doing GREAT WONDERS for Oscar.
