Oscar is an 8 year old DLH orange neutered male cat.
He is up to date on shots and combo tested negative.
Oscar is very sweet and loves to hang out with you.
He loves to be patted and play with his toys time to time.
Oscar does not like to be picked up, however,
he will keep you company and has lots of love to give you in other ways.
Oscar was abandoned at our Shelter in his cat carrier -
we found him that morning at the gate entrance very scared and lonely and confused.
Oscar needs a loving home or a foster home!
However, "Please help us help Oscar" he is on a special diet.
He was diagnosed with UTI (Urinary Tract Infection).
Oscar is now on a SPECIAL WET and DRY FOOD DIET for his UTI, so that it DOES NOT RETURN.
Oscar is doing FANTASTIC and does well on the special diet.
Oscar feels so so much better and he looks so good.
This UTI special diet food is doing GREAT WONDERS for Oscar. 07-13-08

*SWEET BARRY* - August 22nd, 2008
Barry is a 11 year old Black Lab mix, neutered male dog.
He was slated to be euthanized until MHS stepped in,
and he is now at our Shelter as we look for a foster home for him.
Barry was examined by our Veterinarian and diagnosed as being very overweight -
He is 109 pounds and can hardly walk, he has warts and ulcers, ear infection
and has some arthritis due to his age and being so overweight.
However, BARRY can see pretty good when it comes to food and dog cookies
and his sense of smell is SO SHARP!
Barry is on Deramaxx and Glucosamine Sulfate 500 mg with MSM 500 mg for joints daily.
He is on a special diet and gets exercise daily and has dropped some weight,
he also receives two baths per week with medicated shampoo for his skin condition and his ear infection has cleared up.
BARRY IS ON IS WAY TO RECOVERY AND DOING SO WELL...
HE IS A HAPPY DOG AND LOOKING GOOD.
However, this all costs money to keep him in good condition.

** Brodie has been in a Foster Care Home since 5/3/08 with Jane Weir **
Brodie is a 2 year old black/brown lab mix, neutered male.
He was slated to be euthanized until MHS stepped in and he is now at our animal shelter.
We have had Brodie for one year and he has had Obedience Residence Dog Training and did very well.
Brodie was examined by our veterinarian and diagnosed with Bilateral Patella Luxations Grade IV with Arthritis, (he has knee issues).
This does NOT stop Brodie from going for short walks daily - HE LOVES IT!
Brodie just wants SOMEONE TO LOVE and for SOMEONE TO LOVE HIM.
Brodie is a SPECIAL NEEDS DOG that NEEDS someone to SPONSOR or FOSTER him.
He takes 1/2 tablet of DERAMAXX daily for his medical needs, this does WONDERS for Brodie.
