![]() Massachusetts Humane Society will have arranged an agreement with the previous owner to adopt out and find a permanent home for the animal, from their home. Massachusetts Humane Society will have a story and/or a picture of the animal that is up for adoption placed on their website for you to see and read about. Massachusetts Humane Society also places the animal up for adoption in the Patriot Ledger newspaper in their "Around the Pounds" section. The family/person that is interested in adopting the animal needs to call Massachusetts Humane Society for an interview and to make a appointment to meet and see the animal. The Private Adoption Program works out VERY WELL for the animal (cat, dog, etc.) in getting adopted into a home again. Private Adoptions work out well for the person/family that want to adopt an animal as well as assisting the people that need to give up their animal. Call the Massachusetts Humane Society at 1-781-335-1300 Under the Private Adoption Program there is an Animal Adoption Fee and/or Animal Surrender Fee of $50.00
please contact us by phone or email. We are here to help find the animal a permanent, loving home.
